ICSA Diversity Statement:

ICSA greatly values the diversity of its membership and strives for equity in working with its members, prospective members, stakeholders and members of the public.
Our researchers at all levels, from principal investigators, postdoctoral candidates, graduate students and staff, come from many different backgrounds and from all over the world, representing all 5 continents and at least 50 countries across the world. Our membership is 50/50 identifying as male/female.
We are proud of this diversity for its inherent fairness and because a diversity of backgrounds and perspectives enriches our lives, education and experiences. Diversity fosters tolerance in other spheres of life and promotes innovation and creativity in our research into cellular senescence, helping us to achieve our stated mission “to promote interdisciplinary knowledge, research, communication and collaboration in the field of cell senescence”.
We welcome individuals of all backgrounds, cultures, values, beliefs and experiences regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, medical condition, genetic information, military or veteran status.
